Girişik tümce

A dependent clause formed with one of the Turkish verbals. There are three types of nonfinite (verbal) clauses: (1) Nominal (constituent or complement) clause with an action nominal (isim-fiil): Onun terk edişi (His leaving); (2) Adjective (relative) clause with a participle (sıfat-fiil): Kayıtsız kalan (Remaining indifferent); (3) Adverb (adverbial) clause with a converb (zarf-fiil): Öğretmenlik yaparken (When working as a teacher).
